It's just exemplary of the bad writing of Dark Souls 2 if the writer intended "Faraam" to be the name of Gwyn's Firstborn.

If Gwyn's Firstborn's name was purged from the annals of history long before the events of Dark Souls 2, where nobody even knows the name Gwyn or that Gwyn ever existed, how could anyone know the name of Gwyn's Firstborn? Dark Souls 2's lore constantly claims that literally everything about Dark Souls' lore has been forgotten, including foundational cornerstones like Gwyn himself. Dark Souls 3's various descriptions paint a clear picture: that Gwyn's Firstborn betrayed the Gods and sided with the Ancient Dragons during the inception of the Age of Fire, which would predate any kingdom or group that exists or is referenced in Dark Souls 2. The "names of those hwo have gone beyond death" is most likely just a flippant reference to the fact that the Faraam set is the cover boy armor for Dark Souls 2. I I'll find something new, I'll tell youĭark Souls 2 lore is essentially not canon unless clearly confirmed by Dark Souls 3 (which it almost never is, for a multitude of good reasons and some petty ones as well.). I haven't yet played DS1, so I cannot complain any further. Gwyn Gwyndolin Gwynevere Faaram Fillianore I I'll find something new, I'll tell you Gwyn, Gwyndolin, Gwynevere, Faraam.

The Nameless King is not mentioned in any legend nor his name has been preserved. The hole set reads: ''The armour of the Foross LIon Knights was preserved after the destruction of thier homeland, and is mentioned in noumerous legends, (be careful here) along the NAMES of those who have gone BEYOND death. Maybe it was destroied by Gwyn, in his try to delete everything that was known about him. The helmet also says that Forossa Lion Knight's land was destroied. The warrior was figthing a Dragon, though he wars the Faaram armour. Originally posted by bK* Cavaler:I found someone on YouTube who was fighting the Nameless King using the Faaram Set, and while he ws crossing the fog the camera was in the right place and he could clearly see the inscriptuions on the helmet: A warrior that was fighting a Dragon.
